Teachers’ Perceptions of the Impact of the Double Reduction Policy on the Design and Amount of English Homework in Primary Schools – An Empirical Study

چکیده
In compulsory education, homework is considered a key means to help students consolidate the knowledge acquired in class. The introduction of Double Reduction Policy 2021 sets new requirements for assigning education phase. This study investigates impacts on design and amount English primary schools as well students’ perceived willingness do before after implementation policy third-tiered city Guangdong Province, China. Through method questionnaire statistics generated from paired samples t-tests, found that there was significant difference terms teachers’ weekly class hours, average time doing homework, practice unified stratified implemented. other words, less introduced. However, no Policy. These findings may have practical implications be truly effective its implementation.
